Today’s #genealogyphotoaday topic is: occupation. . . One of my very favorite parts of looking at census records is discovering what occupations my relatives had. I grew up in a farming family but I didn’t realize that there were farmers in nearly every branch of my family tree. My great-grandpa split his time between mining and running a sawmill. After immigrating from Sweden, my 2GG worked in a barbed wire factory and then got a job as an envelope cutter in an envelope factory. One of his daughters worked at the five and dime. I’ve already forgotten who worked in the basket factory. Rumor has it there was also a mafia man on one side of the family but that occupation wasn’t listed in the census. 😬😂 #celebrateyourancestors#familyhistory#farmfamily
Never too old for mac & cheese. Or for loving your carrots dipped in Ranch. Or tossing grapes to catch in your mouth. Stepped up from a hot dog though (cause this sausage has cheese and garlic, yum) 😉. • That’s our family’s kind of balanced plate!
MY WHY: These babies are the reason I push myself everyday. To be a better mommy. To make healthy choices. Your children WATCH EVERYTHING you do. I want them to live a healthy life style and eat healthy! & Be a role model for others and to help people out❤️
Heute haben wir Mauli Madli aus Kürbisse eine herbstliche Außendeko für unsre Haustür gestaltet.🎃 Die Madli waren fleißig bei der Sache und wir hatten Einiges zu lachen😁
