I thought these were cured meat from a distance. These are sweets/dessert called Churchkhela. A traditional Georgian and Anatolian candle-shaped candy. The main ingredients are nuts and covered with layers of grape concentrate, sugar and flour.
Georgians usually make Churchkhela in the Autumn when grapes and nuts are harvested. Churchkhela can also be made with dried fruit (such as peach, apple or plum) and pumpkin seeds.
