I over scheduled myself this Fall and didn't leave a day for family photos for my family, so I took my kiddos out one night for a few minutes (literally a couple minutes because they turn into monkeys on speed when I try to photograph them) and got a couple shots for our Christmas card. If you're new to my page, check back next week for our Christmas card. We do a Christmas Vacation scene each year and this year's is pretty funny!
As we were finishing up Charlie asked if he could hold Annie. We said yes and he scooped her up and was giving her kisses. It absolutely melted me. I am extremely close to my brother and I always idolized him. Annie has just recently started "talking" and one of her first words was Charlie (a very butchered version). She adores him. When I get her from her nap each afternoon and I carry her down the stairs, she points to the canvases and says his name because she knows he's home from school. He is pretty smitten with her, too. He is six, so I expected him to be the least interested in a little sister. But it turns out, he's pretty darn enormoured with her. I will peek in the playroom when they're all watching TV and he'll have her in his lap. I am so darn thankful that they are creating this bond and I am so grateful that they have each other.
