We got to go thru the Jordan river temple tonight with our Oregon friends. Sydney loved the brides room and her new favorite friend Zoe. Londyn was very interested in the baptistry symbolism. I love how Temples prove that God loves all his children and wants all of us to return home to live with him. 💗 After the tour we introduced Grace and Zoe to Leatherby’s- and learned Grace’s superpower is making ice cream disappear. Also Leatherby’s can cater to sugar free diets as well as all the others! It really is an amazing place! Love this girls and miss our Eola family! PS they didn’t check tickets but there were a ton available this week so swing by if you can and take the tour. #grandmagracies#sydneylouisekartchner#londynpam#bubbabrycej#lds#familiesareforever
Enjoying the longer days!
I'm am grateful for my family especially for my dad and brothers who have the melchizedek priesthood. Last night I was preparing for a final test for my online class. I was really nervous because it was the only class I didn't have finished to graduate. So I was worried about not passing it. I asked my dad and brothers to give me a blessing to feel confident and calm for my test. That blessing did help me today as I took my test. P.s. I did pass the test. I'm so glad I have a great family that loves me and supports me in so many ways! I love them so much!! ♥️ #jrtready#templerededication#D&C50:44-46 #familiesareforever#day6@jrtready
#igquiltfest Today we share a favorite quilt label. I don’t always label my quilts—I am getting better. This little primitive label has special memories attached to it. Our precious grandson Jacob lived just four minutes. I had just finished this Dwell Quilt before Jacob was born. I quickly sewed this label as we traveled three hours to his graveside. I just didn’t want Jacobs Mama to leave empty handed. She needed something to hug. This was perfect. This little boy comes with quite a story. It is amazing how someone so little can bring so very much love. He truly changed our family. @amyscreativeside@candisegilbert#familiesareforever
