WARNING Looong post so skip if it’s not your jam. Thanks for all the prayers and support! Surgery update-
Good news is that the surgery is completed. The less good news is that it took twice as long as scheduled, four hours and in the doctors’ words and whatever this means “it was the worst repair she has ever had to do.”
Mindset is strong but not gonna lie, a myriad of overwhelming emotions....grieving, anger, disappointment, grateful, excited. I wonder if this is what it’s like to be bipolar, I’m not being insensitive to those who have been diagnosed with this mental health disorder, it’s just how I am feeling.
There’s a lot of folks who have reached out in person, called, texted, emailed, kept me in their prayers, kept me in their thoughts, however or whatever worked for them but just took the time to give a sh_t. I’m am so thankful to you and each of knows who you are.
But there are some really special people how have literally set everything aside to make me their priority so an extra extra special thank you to my husband and best friend and love of my life @clarkdstuart, my chiropractor and fix it all guy who somehow kept me glued together the last three weeks (seriously, this man is a magician when it comes to keeping your body healthy and functioning) @mike.hill64 of @oregonsportspine, my friend and often times my virtual training partner @byoak, my everything friend (coach, mentor, adopted daughter etc etc)@michaelabeauvaise and three of my bestie’s and peers from my #FFF @crossfitgames family @amypistol, @lumjoaquin and @kim_rogers10 (love you thoughtful and badass ladies!) Finally, to my everyday and often time what seems like all day training partner @s_ bunce, thanks for you love n support
