Dreaming in the Valley of Dreams. This was taken in the middle of the night. The apparent sunset is actually light pollution reflecting off clouds. Lighting was performed with Low Level Lighting, with a light panel behind me and to the right and 2 small Goal Zero Micro Lanterns lighting the background. This is a little different for me, a night scene without stars. Hope you enjoy! ________________________________________________ If you are interested in daytime or nighttime tours in the New Mexico Badlands give Navajo Tours USA a call. https://navajotoursusa.com/ ________________________________________________ Kialo Winters @chacorunner from Navajo Tours USA led us on this trip and is highly recommended! ________________________________________________ #igworldclub_sky

This image saved my life. I was at a low ebb and expressed my feelings within an instagram post. I was searching for deeper connection and meaning at the time and i think that at the time i was actually borderline suicidal. I was at a very, very low place. I was thinking deep, searching & contemplating life and my position within it & nature, longing for deeper meaning.

A stranger reached out with kind, attentive, knowing words, words which i needed at that moment and from then on we got talking and we have never stopped talking. This person picked up on my mood while a sea of others.. the people closest to me, they had no idea of my emotional turmoil, they completely missed it. This person i feel was connected to my mood & spirit on a deeper level.

Some people just feel & understand you. That was the deeper connection i was searching for. The connection that is deeper., and can transcend. The validation that we are all connected through energy, feelings & nature. Mother Earth. I saw a face in this photo, and this is the face which i think represents nature, of our Earth. If an earth spirit was captured in a photo.

I think you can make out the lips distinctively.

The point is.. we’re not alone. We all have people who will pop into our lives when we need them the most. I believe that through God, the universal spirit, divine energy.. that all things flow.

Today’s #MessierMonday features both M8 and M20 in a single frame. M8, otherwise known as the Lagoon Nebula, is a massive bright emission nebula located in the constellation Sagittarius. Discovered in 1654 by Italian astronomer Giovanni Battista Hodierna, M8 is a 2 million year old cluster of intensely bright, young stars. To the right of M8 in this photo lies M20, the Trifid Nebula. This nebula is a star-forming region with over 3100 young stars, and is located in a spiral arm of the Milky Way. If you look closely, you’ll see three types of nebulae in one: emission (pink), reflection (blue) and dark (three veins in the pink region). This image was captured by our friend Dan Llwellellyn using a Sky-Watcher Esprit 150mm.
