Sunny days on the river.

Feel it.๐Ÿ’ฆ Every last chilled droplet on your skin. The aggressive rush of plummeting air as it swirls and envelopes you. โ˜€๏ธThe tickle of warm sun. Constant, unwavering appreciation for the smallest parts of what make life so breathtaking will create a day always more brilliant than the one before๐Ÿ๐ŸŒฒ

Somewhere between what she survived, and who she was becoming, was exactly where she was meant to be. She was starting to love the journey. And find the comfort in the corners of her wildest dreams.
They say people don't change...well, she wasn't always this way. Even if she didn't change the entire world, she would change her part of it. And she would affect the people she shared it with.
A butterfly whose wings have been touched, can indeed still fly. Whether something was meant to be, or meant to leave, didn't matter as much anymore.
She would soak up the sun, kiss the breeze, and she would fly regardless. - J. Raymond .โ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

One of the Craziest most terrifying and humbling moments of my life so far was on Saturday when I was hiking in a new area in the BC backcountry I wasn't familiar with.. I was trying to get down to a lake and saw a small opening in the bushes that looked like a decent way down..about 25 feet in I heard a noise and assumed it was some sort of bird so I waited listening closely for the noise again I took 2 more steps and heard the same sound again but this time I knew what I had heard it was a bunch of tiny pups ... my heart almost stopped I knew I was screwed at that point...I wasn't being quite while I was walking there so I knew the mom knew I was there.. before I could even take a step back 3 huge wolves came charging at me in full beast mode one in front and one on each side of me all stopping five feet from me going absolutely wild barking and growling tails straight up hair on their backs standing straight up no words can describe how loud and intense this moment was for me... I stood perfectly still and stayed calm then slowly started walking backwards and they all moved with me going crazy the entire time ... I had about 25 feet to make it to a clearing once in the clearing they kept there formation but stayed in the tree line and started howling.. then I hear Wolves answering back from all directions and they were coming back to help no doubt .. all the sudden this wolf which was not part of the initial confrontation came charging out of the tree line at me ( this photo) got pretty close then ran back into the trees ...I kept walking backwards not wanting to turn my back I had about 1 km to go and they all stayed with me the whole way making sure I had no other choice but to leave... this whole encounter was terrible I would never knowingly go near a Wolf den thats just crazy... The fact they showed mercy on me when humans have never showed them any is unbelievable and makes me respect them even more than I already did.. at anytime any of these Wolves could have attacked and even killed me Im alone middle of nowhere with no weapons but its not in their nature to hurt humans they were just as scared as I was and did what they could to protect their pups!

There's the Jamaican Bobsled team... and then there's the Canadian Floaty team.โ €

100 of us chased sunrise 1400 meters up above one of the most beautiful cities in the world this Sunday (Vancouver, BC) for #SundaySchool. With the perfect sunrise, 100 rad humans around us willing to wow up at 1:45am to get after it, and then hot weather, it *almost* couldn't have gotten better. โ €
โ €โ €
But ๐Ÿ’ก, with the stoke levels lifted, the @dreamboats floaties in our packs meant for the beach later that morning, quickly came out and got blown up. @deshoots and @cammacdougler kicked it off and we turned the semi-safer areas of the peak into a full send-a-thon, with everyone throwing down and getting in on it.โ €

These are the Sundays we are never going to forget.
Except for maybe @montanaradok who put the ๐Ÿ“ท into @deshoots hands just long enough to send it head-long across this gap. โ €

Give me a reason to get out of the city.

Its not just that the grass is greener in the other side, it's that the grass IS on the other side.
