Be tenacious! This conversation started with them asking that I take down a listing that I purchased as part of a closeout bulk buy. They were polite when I described the way that I acquired the item. I looked through their other brand offerings and noticed that it would be a wholesale relationship worth pursuing. This is just my method of response, but I figured I would share. Everyone does it their own way. Coming from a purchasing and distribution background, I understand that the easiest response from their perspective is "no". They have existing customers, and several may be doing a good job for them. That said, if you can find a way to bring them strategic value, you can often peak their interest. While this may or may not pan out, I will tell you with certainty that if they allow me to purchase and list their ten lowest selling items, that I will have their entire catalogue available to me within 3 months. Always be willing to get in the door with anything to start!
