A memorable MLK Day Prayer Breakfast took place at the Hamtramck Community Center on January 15th. It was the 21st annual breakfast sponsored by the Concerned Women of Hamtramck.
On behalf of the Hamtramck Board of Education thanks to Madelyn Porter, Darla Swint and Sharon Strean for a job well done organizing the breakfast. Also thanks to Thomas Course Jr. and the HHS band, Eric Porter and the Dickinson West Choir, Kosciuszko teacher Theresa Comor, Dickinson West secretary Vanessa Gray, Brian Swift and his staff from food service, Rich Wawrzynski and his staff from maintenance, Cindy Crank and her custodial staff and Marc Wilkinson and the technology department. A special thanks to the Concerned Women founder Yvonne Myrick.
