Before you scroll please read ⬇️❗️- this post it to help others. Throwback Thursday to mark BABY LOSS awareness week ⬇️ ❗️ ⬇️ . This pic was Part 2 of a Triple Challenge set by me & my pal, to raise funds & awareness back in 2014 for baby loss Charity Sands Lothians.
Sorry for the seriously deep & personal post today, but if I can help even 1 person out there then it’s worth doing so bear with me.
For any parent out there who has suffered the devastating loss of a baby, please know that although you never get over it, in time you learn to live with it. Time is a great healer & exercise can also be an amazing focus.
Exercise was my lifesaver when I lost Patrick (Paddy) at the 6.5 month stage of pregnancy, devastating & life changing doesnt cover it, life shattering goes some way...
If you know anyone in a similar situation, please find a babyloss Charity near them where they can get the support & help they need from trained professionals. They can also meet others who know exactly what they are going through. Sands UK are amazing for this purpose & their details are here @sandscharity or visit the website: www.babylossawareness.org .
I want no one to have to experience baby loss without professional help. I was that person, didn’t know they existed, didn’t realise how badly I needed help, buried it deep down & carried on.....it didn’t go so well for me because the crash duly came. With professional help & finally talking about it all, I was able to finally face it & process it which allowed me to move forward.
Please seek the help you or your family/friends may need & break the silence of babyloss....it needs to be talked about ❤️. .
I am so so so lucky to have 2 healthy girls & I am grateful every, single, day:
