#repost cause I changed up some pix 🤓 Good morning! ☀️ I wanted to share a little about the treatment we worked on last night at school. Microdermabrasion. Ever heard of it or been curious as to what it is?! 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️ Microdermabrasion is a form of exfoliation. In our #basic facials, we use a scrub from a brand called @sanitas_skincare and apply it using a brush and/or our hands...it’s a gentle exfoliant. Microdermabrasion is a soft and painless method of mechanical face peeling. The diamond tip removes the upper corneum layer and the vacuum removes scrubbed cells and accelerates blood circulation. Most people do a series of 6 treatments (which can be done 1x a week) after that, you can go once a month or so for upkeep. 🤗 I’ll keep you posted on my results, but from my experience last night, my skin feels amazing, so smooth, and it didn’t irritate at all which is saying a lot for someone with rosacea and skin sensitivities. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 . . . #esthetician#intraining#esthetics#facials#microdermabrasion#benefits#lovetheskinyourein#knoxville#tennessee#takecareofyourself#takecareofyourskin

When committing to yoga practice on a regular basis, yogis seek to experience and become aware of the spirit, or the energy, within and without. We’re not talking about ghostly spirits here, or some supernatural being – spirit is higher consciousness; a driving force, a motivation, a reason behind everything we think and everything we do. Being aware of this energy is something spiritual. Therefore, awareness is critical to yoga as a spiritual practice.
