The only competition you should have is yourself. Become a better version of yourself and stop comparing yourself to others......especially when a lot of people's social medias portray a life they don't actually lead!
I may not have got the result I had hoped for on Saturday but I know the reasons why (I'm not going to sit here and accuse it of being like a fix like I have seen so many competitors doing! Some people need to learn to admit that they just wasn't good enough or didn't have the look the judges were looking for!) Where do I go from here? Honestly I don't know yet....I'm actually the happiest I have been for a long while despite some challenging life blips over the last year....I've come out the other side and feel like Birdie again. To carry on competing in the category/federation that I did at the weekend would mean having a really good off season and to get "fluffy" again. Being "fluffy" makes me miserable. Life is about balance and doing what makes you happy. I have a photoshoot at the end of the month. So for now I'm just going to try to maintain where I am by eating clean with a few weekend treats......will decide what my next plans are then....watch this space
