Let’s talk M O R N I N G R O U T I N E S ! .
It’s not news that anxiety and depression are parts of my life. I’ve been working tirelessly for a couple years to make sure I’m doing everything I can in my power to ease the symptoms. .
One thing that I’ve noticed only recently is how I start my day. Prior to this mini epiphany I would wake up, scroll through my phone, drudge through the morning routine and head off to work. .
NOW I wake up and do things that add J O Y to my life! This could look different for you but for me, I wake up, look at the daily bible verse, turn on my diffuser and some happy music (thanks @dignifiedstrength for the playlist!) and get going. .
I’ve noticed a HUGE change in me. Not only throughout the day but in general. I have more energy, I am joyful. .
Don’t get me wrong, life is still hard. I still have days where my body seems to fight against me. But starting my day with joy has been a life changer. How could you change your morning routine to add more joy?!
