It’s so smokey in the Bay even my cocktail gets a mask. 😅
After days of refreshing G&Ts and daiquiris, I’ve decided to lean into the smokiness with a mezcal cocktail. This savory-meets-sweet old fashioned variation combines bacon-washed mezcal, rosemary syrup, and apple bitters for drink that not only complements the nightmare air quality, but also my favorite Thanksgiving flavors.
Speaking of Thanksgiving, many Northern California families lost their homes in the fires and will not be having the best holiday seasons. If you’re looking for ways to help, check out the link in my bio for how to make a difference.
2 oz bacon washed mezcal
