A few good reasons: at some point everyone will need to utilize max power, utilizing power will intrinsically teach your clients a lot about effort, natural scaling (as hard as you are able), great ramp-up for SNS pre-training. I perform these throws with a focus on thoracic and pelvic stabilization and pick a ball that I can throw with max velocity (10lbs here), bigger isn’t better with these.
Also, first day in months of squatting without groin/adductor issues. Feels good to be feeling good again.
