"your local gang of sick kids are begging you to call your senators and save our healthcare, effectively saving our lives. (202)224-3121
we've heard from multiple sources that there are not as many calls coming in about Graham-Cassidy as the previous bills proposed earlier this year. this is understandable, we've been here before and they've failed. but they failed because we've made it clear that those bills would not be accepted. it's easy to get complacent, to think that since we've fought this fight and won so many times already that there's no way they could possibly approve this bill, they couldn't last time so they can't this time. we can defeat this bill but we need to make our voices heard. we need to give every senator who is currently in favor or undecided hell. they care about votes, about re-election. tell them they will not have your vote if they do not oppose this bill. even if your senator is in opposition of this bill, you still need to call. we need as many voices as possible telling as many people that we can that this is not okay. that we will not decide who gets to live and die. that healthcare is a right.
this bill is a serious threat to so many lives and at this point has a fairly good chance of being approved. we cannot let that happen. so please, call. write. fax. tweet. do anything. complacency is violence. we've stopped this before, but that's because we did not get complacent we cannot stop it again without serious, dedicated, wide spread action.
