Trans inclusive feminism always💕
Just a not-so-friendly reminder that TERFs are not welcome on my page😘
PD// post says: Hi! I just wanted to remind all of you activists that consider yourselves intersectional (and hopefully that's all of you) to keep trans people in your thoughts when writing/sharing posts! I certainly believe it's important to actively fight to remove the stigma around things like abortions, periods and stuff like that, however, I also find it equally important to remember the vocabulary you're using when discussing these topics. Please try to refrain from addressing the groups of people who are capable of getting pregnant or having their periods as girls/women or using the pronouns she/her. We all have to remember that not all women have vaginas/uteruses and that not all people who do have them are women! It's okay if you've made/shared posts like these in the past, I know I have. It's a common, but ignorant, mistake. But it is important that now you know about this, you make an effort to keep conversations about pregnancy, abortions, periods, vaginas, boobs, etc. gender neutral! If you don't, you are transphobic, and very obviously not intersectional. Keep trans folks in your activism! Ig: @powerfully.feminist end of PD.
