Yes, I finally did it! 2.4mi Swim, 112mi Bike, and 26.2mi Run. My first Ironman race, done!
First, I want to thank God for keeping me safe throughout my journey and for giving me and my family the privilege to do the things we do. Without Him, this would not be possible. I give all the Glory to you Lord. 🙏🏼 Thanks to my partner, my loving and patient wife Anne Marie Jimenez, for being super-supportive of me throughout my toughest challenges and endless hours of training. She was there where at times I couldn't be. There's no way I could have done it without her. I love 😘❤️ her very much!
I want to thank my brother, Ramoncito Jimenez for introducing me to this endurance lifestyle and for his continuous support and guidance. Also, I want to thank some of my friends from Charisma Runners, 3P TriTeam and FilAmTri who became my special mentors and coaches throughout my journey. People like my good friend bro Jojo Cabigting, Noel Pelimer, Pastor Alan-Elian Dionson, Henry Fauni, Shangrila Rendon, DaGreatOne Lara, Andrew Tiotuico, Nathan Dang, Brian Masayon, Greg Uy, Rebekah Walker 🦄, Noriel Simsuangco, Paulene Williams, Fil Labestida, Anthony Mejia, PJ Toledo, Kristoffer Crisostomo, Lex Lopez just to name a few... I'm truly grateful to have met these inspiring group of people who helped me in achieving my goal. IM finally part of the 140.6 club... IM living the dream!
