Tomorrow I am running the Rothman 8K in Philadelphia! I just signed up last weekend so I missed the chance to get my name on my race bib 😕 But I am super excited tomorrow. The expo tonight at the Philadelphia Convention Center was so much fun and I got so many free things and samples! Tomorrow will be pretty cold so I plan on wearing layers to stay warm 🧤🧣 I rather be too warm than be cold while I’m running!! 🏃🏼‍♀️🍁👟

Preparing for powerlifting training. I’m learning from my trainer to use your mind to get through the difficult workouts and training. It’s the most exhilarating feeling when you power up with the bar across your shoulder. A derp squat that I thought I would be able to do and I did it! I’m very thankful for my trainer who’s been by my side and encouraging me. I won’t quit and he continues to push me very hard! He’s a friend, trainer and my mentor teaching me the ins and outs of personal training. @mikedsetzer. Don’t give up. What an amazing day again! Can not be more happier at this stage of my life! Just completed my first ever sprint triathlon on stunning Hamilton Island, I swim like a brick ha, cycling on a airstrip who can say that and finishing NOT last woohoooo! I would like to thank @whitsunday_foodservice For letting me take the afternoon off to prep for the race. I feel extremely lucky that I am working in such a great work environment! 2018 has been very good to me, new job and Wednesday I got the news that my visa is approved!!!! I am here to stay!! All of this would never have happened if @rhysgsxr1000 wasn’t next to me pushing me to my limits every time, convincing me that everything would be okay and possessing the gift off knowing exactly what to say to me ALL THE TIME. I thought of this often over the last few days. In health and fitness it's important to realize that there are very few absolutes.

There is no 1 magical fitness program or nutrition plan that will work for everyone, every time.
.
As a fitness nerd you'd think this might be a tough pill to swallow, but what gets me out of bed is an insatiable curiosity around performance and a drive to master as many of the mechanisms which play into achieving peak performance as I possibly can.
