How would you react if any relative or your child was kidnapped? Of course you're reporting this.
The captures of cetaceans is kidnapping, who are we to decide whether we can TAKE an Orca to keep them in concrete tanks?
Morgan for example is one example of GREED, she was rescued and they were going to release her, but they couldn't find her family, arguing this Morgan was sent to Loro Parque from Hardewijk Netherlands, Hardewijk is a disgusting place, Morgan was kept in a very small tank and could hardly move around, they almost immediately when they took her in AS A RESCUE on display for the public to come and see her (she was NOT in shows there) They after a hearing send her to Loro Parque to be in a sanctuary /rehabilitation tank, this wasn't kept, she started to join the shows, according to one employer she wanted to be in the shows. I think she may have looked like she wanted because she needed exercise. They didn't have to put her in the shows, they could have seen to she was entertained with toys etc, and one thing. A rescue shouldn't eat frozen fish, so what did they have in mind really?
One excuse after another to NOT release her. At least she should be able to be in a seapen (the others too) have you seen how close to the ocean Loro Parque is? They all and especially Morgan smell the ocean. It's like you're living outside your home looking in. No wonder Morgan is uneasy. During nights they are not swimming around they are in a closed environment.
We humans have no right to do this, let them be in Seapen for public to visit. TRAIN them for release, some are ready some not and for those not ready, let them stay in the seapen feeling the ocean and eat live fish. What's so difficult? Money? If they take they should repair the damage they've done. /Kimberly
