“If only you just stop complaining, maybe you could have reach your goal a little closer.” 1 year ago, my max weight for leg press was 110kg for 8 reps. Current status, I up my max weight to 200kg for 8 reps without support. Thanks to the training I had... 🤪🤪 For me life is really like doing weights training. Something like leg press. You started at a lighter weight to make you a little stronger step by step. Then as you get stronger, you up your weight till you max it out. You Cringe and moan at the weight you have to lift up... but when you pull through, you know you can conquer it the next time as well... there’s no point in complaining about how life is difficult because it’s always gonna be difficult. But are you willing to give up just because it’s difficult? Life puts you through challenges to make you stronger. And as you conquer each weight added, you make your muscles grow and become stronger. We learn and grow from our challenges.
I’m not the most positive person on the planet. Nor do I not go through issues, insecurities and challenges. I complaint a lot and sometimes too much. I become petty and sometimes a drama queen.
But who’s to blame? The people around me? The situation? Or myself?
We can never control our external factors. So why put yourself through the pain of constantly complaining about how life is unfair? It only adds on to our pain. Just like how complaining the weights for leg press is heavy and you couldn’t do it.
When you say you can’t, you really can’t. And I’m still learning from that.
If we learn to stop complaining and actually doing the things that will make us stronger, looking at things from a different angle, accepting that everything is gonna be ok as Long as we stay positive and stop complaining... maybe we could have gotten stronger than instead of crying in self pity.
Complaining is actually a very negative vibe, it drains your energy. And make you constantly stuck in your situation.
I wanna spread positive and encouraging vibes to myself and the people around me! So I’m gonna challenge myself to not complaint at all for the week. Not during workout or my daily life.
It’s a only a problem if you make it one.
