A question I often get asked is how long have I been training for?
.
.
That question might sound straightforward but it isn’t. I’ve been in the gym lifting weights in some form for the past 13 years but my training age is definitely not that. There’s so much more to performing weight training than just getting into the gym & moving weight. Technique, tension, volume, phases etc.
.
.
If I was to put a number on it I would say 6 years, maybe 7. And even at that my training has improved dramatically in the last 3 years & that was evident from my first & second shoot.
.
.
So if you have your nutrition in check & you’re wondering why your abs don’t show or your chest don’t look good even though your body fat is low, then maybe it’s time to look at your training.
.
.
Don’t make the same mistake I did & waste years of training, forget the ego, strip it all back.
.
.
Also I had the patience to develop over time - all natural - you can get there too ✌️

Focusing a lot more on cutting body fat without sacrificing too much muscle mass. The progress comes a lot slower than a standard cut but i worked hard to gain lean mass and i want to retain as much as possible while dropping. Another advantage of a slow cut is that my energy levels are considerably higher at this stage than when i last cut body fat. Its a good method for anyone looking to lean out and don’t have to worry about being ready within a certain timeframe.

Seated Hamstring Curls - initiating movement from Hamstrings, not just pulling downwards, stretch at top of movement, squeezing at the bottom & resisting on the way back up - mind fully focused on Hamstrings at all times, in pain & uncomfortable.

The amount of times I ask people what muscle they’re working here & they say Calves, similarly with Lying Leg Curls. Always know what muscle group you’re working & don’t just replicate movements for the sake of it - this info might seem basic & pointless to most of you but it definitely applies to lots of beginners (among others) out there ✌️

First gym I built was 13 years ago in a 12 foot x 6 foot shed. It consisted of a bench, a few plates, 1 set of Dumbbells & a full length mirror I stole from my Mam’s bedroom - I promise this ones a bit better 😂
