Was just talking to @kimannaxo bout this but wanted to expand and post about it bc I think it’s something so important for everyone to think about.
we really can’t hold onto anything forever as we may wish. Everything is constantly changing and I think part of “mastering” life is about learning how to ride these fluctuating waves - your environment, home, friends (or bf/gf), school, workbody shape and weight (even within a day), diet.. there is NO way we can control ALL of this, and why should we strain* ourselves to do so?
It’s a matter of comfortably remaining stagnant vs. uncomfortably diving into something new and unknown. But experiencing change is so essential to our personal development. it’s necessary so that we can gain understanding of new situations, and more importantly ourselves.
the end of one good chapter does not mean the next isn’t better. The end of a bad chapter doesn’t mean the next is worse. And a full story can not be written by writing the same chapter over and over, no matter how good it is. the chapter you’re in right now is as essential as every other one. and if the author (you) is determined to make it a happy ending, it will be.
Might sound sorta cheezy but even the most cliche topics are also most relevant. Live with acceptance 🌸 (not resistance) for everything that comes your way and you truly will feel liberated (working on this w you). here’s an unrelated bathroom selfie for u -my makeup is actually coming off n smudgy here but i still liked it luls (even on point makeup don’t last more than few hrs 🙃🙃)
