Today's # 4 : South Luangwa NP 🇿🇲 Zambia.
This gorgeous park, situated in the centre of Zambia's eastern half (check out the country's shape, you'll get what I mean) is renowned as one of Africa's wild places... it's probably best known for it's healthy leopard population, who rest in camel-thorn acacias & other large trees in the riverside gallery forests - though I didn't find one in 8 days of driving this place back to front! I did, however, see the majority of Africa's other more cryptic animals here, including wild dogs on a hunt, civets, genets, rock pythons, black-necked spitting cobra, & awesome ellie sightings daily, amongst other cool stuff.
We're heading back here in a month to find those elusive leopards, though will also be chasing the Carmine Bee-eater migration in September - check it out, it's an absolutely incredible place!!!!!
