Cool new art by @beeple_crap This inspired a few different things for the music I wrote today. The art was titled "BARCELONA" so I researched some Spanish type guitar chord progression and tried to incorporate a bit of that style. On top of that, the picture made me think of this guy lost in his own mind. Thinking about to many things and going over them again and again. I sort of tied those two ideas together and used that as the emotional feel for the song. I used the 7/8 time signature at 106 BPM for this one too. I was really getting into the beat I wrote for it. The snare is hitting on the 3rd and 6th which I think worked pretty well at this tempo. I'm having a lot of fun experimenting and learning these time signature and will probably keep using them after this month long challenge. I feel I'm just barely scratching the surface and want to develop them further.

Instruments & Software:
Ableton Live 10
Spitfire Charango (Kontakt)
I started this one with the Spitfire Charango instrument. It has a unique, plucky guitar sound that's a lot of fun to write with. I wrote chord progression and then played it 3 different ways for variation throughout the track. I added the Permut8 plugin to it which gave it a little bit of a glassy shimmer on the higher frequencies. It gave it some cool dimension so I kept it on there. I next added in Signal for the bass and then layered it with Serum and Massive to fill out the bass line even more. I next added in Massive for writing a melody and doubled it with Signal. .
