1.Wake up every morning and expose yourself to something positive. If you wake up and immediately start scrolling on your phone, it's easy to get sucked into other people's worlds. Instead, fuel your mind by watching an inspiring motivational speech on YouTube, or even better, reading a motivational chapter of a book. By exposing yourself to positive words and thoughts each morning, you are setting the foundation for a positive and more confident you.
2. Focus on what your strengths are and continue to work on them. Write down what you want to work on and accomplish and focus on them in the moment. Don't beat yourself up over something that happened yesterday, a day ago, or a week ago. Focus on the NOW and continue to grow with yourself. Let go of your past mistakes! They are a learning lesson for you, anyway.
3. Surround yourself with a positive support system. When I felt alone, I would turn to books and motivational speakers to fuel my soul. Now, I reach out to people on social media that I believe I can connect with! I also have met tons of new and positive people just from becoming more happy and positive within myself. I no longer try to please people who don't fuel my growth.
4. Exercise!! I know this one is definitely challenging but working out on a consistent basis and feeling strong is super important in self growth and your confidence. The gym is my place to focus on becoming stronger both physically and mentally, and after every workout I feel naturally happier and more confident! Working out is so healthy for your soul and definitely is a great way to boost your esteem.
5. Be unapologetically YOU. 🌟🙌🏽✌🏽 ignore the haters and people who make fun of you or treat you poorly. Just focus on becoming the best version of you at all times and work hard towards your dreams. People will always have something to say about you, so you might as well do what you want.
