I learned a long time ago to never EVER take my kids to book sales. It requires far too much patience and endurance on their part, and they will ask me a hundred times if we can go now, which will require far too much patience on MY part. 😳 But last week, I did the unthinkable. I took them with me. And this time? It was like having several of myself searching the stacks. It was actually productive! We came home with nearly fifty pounds of books for $30. Several books and a few movies are already missing from this photo. Gabe found a fantastic book on butterflies with excellent photography that retails for $40! And we got several really great finds in the movie department: The Shaggy Dog, Oliver, and The Miracle Worker, to name a few.
Plus, we found some Spanish versions of familiar picture books, several old, dusty versions of classics (just the way I like them), a read-aloud I went there looking for, specifically, and we found just one book shy of the entire Harry Potter series for Atticus. I MIGHT have even purchased YET another copy of Jane Eyre. #itsasickness #favoritebook
ALSO, Noah willingly carried that 50-pound box all the way to the car without being asked. ❤️ Now, WHERE to put them all...🤔🤷♀️ #allaroundgoodday #greathaul #booksale #librarybooksale #friendsofdallaspubliclibrary #efficientshopping #tagalongkids #bookloversofinstagram #bibliophile #bookloversunite #needmorebookshelves #booksarelife #charlottemasonliving #surroundedbybooks #educationisanatmosphere #adelectableeducation
