'Don't undertake a project unless it is manifestly importand and nearly impossible.'

I've been going through a period where I've been really disliking everything I've been creating, whether it was painting or drawing or calligraphy or photography, which is why I haven't posted anything for over a month because everything feels subpar. I used to simply jump back and forth between hobbies, detaching myself from one and devoting myself to another for a while, and when I came back around I'd be refreshed and inspired, but when everything you produce is discouraging you, I simply stopped.
Now I know this sounds way overdramatic, but it's been pretty miserable and I realized I needed to get out of this funk and apparently picking up a new expensive hobby is the way to go!😂😂
Joking aside, it's nice to fall in love with something again, and it's so refreshing to be able to see the world through a different lens (quite literally). Not to mention the unpredictability of instant film does teach you to love the process of creating and the potentially imperfect results that may arise. Perfection kills creativity, and I'm still learning to ignore it...
Now, if you actually read this rambly novel of a description, you are a saint and have my thanks! ❤️ It's good to be posting again, and I promise not all of my photos will be accompanied by a wall of text.
