In my new blogpost I interview the strong and inspiring power woman @retrorow, founder of London based @revivalretro boutique. In this photo by @torysmithphoto I am wearing an outfit from her (online) shop, more photos and the interview you find via my bio. ❤ The hat was handmade by @ateliermillinery, who is also selling her great pieces at the Revival shop. She is hosting a #hatventchallenge on Instagram at the moment, where you can win one of her treasures, so don't miss this one! 👒 Have a cozy evening! #Cowgirl#RevivalRetro#Slowfashion
It's important to know who made your clothes. There are many companies that will publicly show their customers their supply chain, ensuring you know exactly where your clothes were made and who was involved each step of the way during their creation. If a company is not willing to share this information with the customer, it should raise alarm bells and make you question why they aren't willing to share the information. What do they have to hide? _______________________________________________________ #SustainableFashion#Fashion#EcoFashion#BeAccountable#EcoWise#Beauty#Art#RCGD#SuzyAmisCameron#Eco#Sustainable

Stitching over and over 😍 From my experience i know that when we've made our clothes we take care much more of them than the ones we might buy, and this simply because we are forced to realise how much time we spent on it, how much it's not easy and time consuming to turn out a piece of fabric into a garment or anything

What is intelligent luxury? It is going beyond achieving mere material satisfaction to build that special connection with the specific treasure that excites your mind. It is knowing that your purchase makes a difference towards creating a more sustainable way of living. It is understanding that every pre-owned vintage and pre-loved item has a story. And that each one of them, with its flaws and imperfections, is unique - just like you. ⠀ ⠀ THE FIFTH COLLECTION: empowering smart shoppers, and their wardrobes, with intelligent luxury.

Some things are worth waiting for. For me, it was a sweater in a caramel-ish color. When it first became a wish, I couldn’t find it anywhere in ethical shops or quality secondhand. So when Aiayu launched this color, I knew we were a match! So essentially it tool me 1,5 years to get the sweater, but it was so worth it. Do you ever practice slow shopping?
