Tofu Recipe: Press one 14oz block of tofu to remove excess liquid (or buy pre-pressed sprouted tofu). Cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Coat in olive oil and bake on parchment-lined baking sheet at 400F until golden. 🌱Sauce Recipe: Whisk in small saucepan on medium-low heat until heated through: 1/3 cup tomato paste, 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce, 2 tbsp vegan Worcestershire sauce, 2-3 tsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp sriracha, 2-3 tsp mirin. Adjust according to taste. Mix baked tofu and sauce together and serve.

I’m new to reducing my waste, but here are some of the things that have helped me in my journey. I love the cotton mesh and muslin bags from @allcottonandlinen for getting produce and grains in bulk. Mason jars are great for storing the grains I get in bulk after I use my bags to purchase them. For coffee, I have the @kleankanteen 16oz. Tumbler and some reusable straws for iced coffee or smoothies. I have the 32 oz. flask from @hydroflask for my water and bamboo utensils from @togoware for when I pack my lunch. Reusable k-cups are EVERYTHING because I can put my freshly ground coffee in them so I’m not drinking stale coffee and I’m not using wasteful plastic k-cups. It’s a win-win! Lastly, using a kitchen rag has cut my use of paper towels in a big way. Feel free to share what helps you reduce waste! 🌎🌍🌏
