After having a baby it seems that the sole purpose of a mom’s existence is to be the milking grounds for their little bundle of joy. It is overly impressive to see moms reach out and ask about starting AIM while having a newborn.
Our recommendations are to wait until 12-weeks postpartum or longer to start.
Since AIM focuses on learning about food and what our bodies need, the stress of ‘dieting’ is removed.
Fueling the body with the right proportions of the right foods will not hinder your production of milk. Focusing on hydration is critical. Find balance between self-love and being the sole-provider for your baby.
