🍩DOOOONUUUUUUTS🍩 (read it like Homer would do🤤).
So @betteryousverige kindly sent me some products to try and I decided to make something yummy with the protein powder I got. It’s their vegan (oat and pea) protein powder, all natural ingredients! I got the vanilla and blueberry flavor, I’m not a fan of shakes so I don’t know how it is as a shake but I can tell you that if you mix it in your oats, yogurt or as frosting (like in this case🍩) it’s delicious!!😍😍
📝RECIPE (8-9 donuts):
• 125g flour;
• 22g cocoa powder;
• 30g brown sugar;
• 1 tsp baking soda;
• 1/4 salt;
• 180ml mylk (I used @alpro light soy);
• 2 tbsp applesauce;
• 2 tbsp coconut oil;
• 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar;
For the frosting: • @betteryousverige protein powder, some vanilla flavoring and mylk! Just mix and add milk 1-2 tbsp at the time until you get a frosting consistency!
Preheat your oven at 180°C. Sift the flour and cocoa powder into a mixing bowl, add then baking soda, sugar and salt. Add milk, applesauce, coconut oil, vinegar, vanilla and whisk until well combined. Spray a donut ring pan with some cooking spray and fill the rings up to 2/3. Bake for 15min. Let them cool completely before adding your frosting. I also added some peanut inside them and sprinkled cocoa nibs on top of them! Enjoy!😋
