Out of the over 500 species of #Sharks there are only 5 warm-blooded sharks. The mako is one of them. Beautiful with their long snout, protruding teeth and crescent-shaped caudal fin, Makos are an easily distinguishable #species. Quick and #powerful, these agile sharks are often the target of big game fisherman. But to see them truly powerful, is to see them in the water. The Mako has never been successfully kept in captivity, even now in a time where we have everything man has ever known at our fingertips, and we carry little black boxes that have more technology than the first space missions in our pockets. 📷 @project.1z@joeromeiro333
This is why I love diving, particularly in Indonesia! The chance to see rare underwater animals ❣️ Keep bubbling! #komodoislands#indonesia#divesites#eatsleepdive#PADI . #repost@samataluxury . Yesterday, our guest Penny Bielich was lucky enough to capture this footage of one of the rarest animals in the world! The Megamouth Shark, with only 63 sightings in history, was captured at 'Shotgun' dive site in Komodo National Park!!
