När en semester blir FÖR bra 😳
Då kryper alltid vardags-ångesten fram sista dagen...
Jag VILL INTE åka hem 😩
VILL INTE jobba, ha rutiner, göra de 6747423 sakerna som jag behöver ta tag i, vill inte tänka på matlådor, väckarklockor, planering, att passa tider...
(Yes, trots att jag alltid förespråkar #dowhatmakesyouhappy så känner jag också såhär ibland).
Så hur kan man råda bot på de där känslorna, så att de inte äter upp en helt?
Låt sista dagen av semester vara SEMESTER även den. Mina fingrar ville öppna mailen på tåget hem, men istället läste jag min bok. Som jag skrev igår fixade vi mys-mat, åt bulle, såg på serie och la oss sent på vår sista dag - vi sög helt enkelt ur det sista ur semestern.
Från semester till reality.
Om möjligt - ha en dag ledigt mellan resan och din första arbetsdag.
Om inte - mjukstarta. Det är helt okej att köpa lunch ute första dagen på jobbet, att inte göra några andra hushållssysslor den dagen, att göra något mysigt på kvällen.
Nej, det är inget fel att ha den där ångesten. Var inte rädd för den, prata iatället om den med någon.
För mig gör det att ångesten inte växer sig för stor, att jag kan be om hjälp med saker som stressar mig, och att jag får perspektiv.
Och - att jag inte blir rädd för att känna mycket glädje bara för att det är jobbigt när den försvinner.
Något kul, inte alltför långt fram i tiden, som gör att vardagen inte känns för tråkig. Myskväll med kompisarna, konsert, bio, restaurangbesök, weekend...🤗
Vi har haft det SÅ BRA 🧡
Istället för att vända det till att det då blir jobbigare att komma tillbaka (en halvbra semester hade gett mindre verklighets-ångest) så ska jag försöka vara tacksam, spara energin och låta den bära mig under mer intensiva, stressiga eller utmanande dagar ✨
(PS. Vem sa are lekplatser bara car för barn? 😏 Viktigt att ta med sig lekfullheten in i vardagen - balans! ☯️)

It never ceases to amaze me the precious time we spend chasing the squirrels around our brains, playing out our dramas, worrying about unwanted facial hair, seeking adoration, justifying our actions, complaining about slow Internet connections, dissecting the lives of idiots, when we are sitting in the middle of a full-blown miracle that is happening right here, right now.
We're on a planet that somehow knows how to rotate on its axis and follow a defined path while it hurtles through space! Our hearts beat! We can see! We have love, laughter, language, living rooms, computers, compassion, cars, fire, fingernails, flowers, music, medicine, mountains, muffins!

The 3 biggest things that have made the biggest difference in my life.
1. Relaxing my eating habits. Don’t be solely focused on only eating healthy foods. Don’t get me wrong, a minimum of 80% of your food intake should be high quality nutrient dense food. But you need to relax a couple times a week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Do some kind of movement everyday. No matter what. Elevate your heart rate. Push yourself. This is immensely beneficial for your entire body. It doesn’t have to be an hour training session. 15 minutes will drastically improve your day.
3. Experiences over things. The older I get the less I care about stuff I used to feel was important.
Material things, watching TV, meaningless conversation, and video games. Are all just time and life suckers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is important. We get an average of 28,470 days on this planet. We have wasted enough days. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stop living your days on repeat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Set goals for yourself. Push yourself to reach them. Find people who feel the same way you do. Push away people who don’t. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Negativity is an infectious disease. Keep it out of your life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am creating a crew of people who want to live this way and change their lives. This all starts with nutrition and strength training. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2️⃣This cah-razy busy week has got me craving allll of the comfort food and nothing says comfort like a big ol' bowl of spaghetti , am I right?! .
Oh you know I am and, this right here is a big ol' delicious, nutritious hug in a bowl and just what I need after the super, mega, insanely busy (and kinda stressful) week that was! ,
Here's how I made it if you care to join us;
🍝 500 g ground meat - (tonight I used chicken - use any kind you like - vegan friends sub extra veg, lentils/chickpeas/tempeh/tofu or all of the mushrooms) cooked in @loving_earth coconut with -
🍄 1/2 C mushroom, finely chopped + 1 tsp @superfeast "Jing" &  mason mushroom mix
🥕 1 lge carrot, grated
💜 1 sml red onion
💛 4 lge garlic cloves
🌶 A pinch of red pepper flakes
✨ A pinch of cinnamon (trust me) + S & P to taste
Once our meat/protein is cooked it's time to get saucy. Add -
🍅 1 can diced tomatoes + 2 Tbsp of tomato paste
🍶 1 tsp of @jomeisfinefoods balsamic vinegar
❣ 1 char-grilled red pepper
🍃 A few fresh basil leaves roughly chopped +
🥘 1 tsp @meadowmarrowbonebroth "boost" beef bone broth is boosted with MCT oil & beets & it's ah-maze-zing!) + 1/2 C water - sub 1/2 cup of your fave broth
Let it all simmer until nicely reduced and served on a mountain of zucchini noodles (or regular spaghetti, a baked potato or even just some wilted greens) 👌🏻
To serve top with -
🌶 Chili
🧀 @puresnack cashew "cheese"
⭐️ A drizzle of @primalkitchenfoods ranch 👌🏻
Simple, satisfying, ready in under 30 minutes & happily devoured by all. Always! 🍝🍝🍝

Today I’m sharing a short, sharp total body workout that you can get in and get done in just 15 minutes (no equipment required) + a creamy, dreamy {banana free} blackberry & lavender cheesecake smoothie 👯💪❤️😅🍇💜🎂🍦✨
So here's what we are going to do - ✳️ 5 of your fave exercises ;
✳️ 25 x Squats
✳️ 20 x (total) Lunges
✳️ 15 x Sit Ups
✳️ 10 x Push Ups
✳️ 5 x Burpees
♻️ 4 rounds or as many rounds as pretty in 15 minutes
💥Boomshakalocka, done! 👊🏻
Do stated reps of each exercise (10 reps per leg for lunges) and repeat the entire sequence through for a total of 4 rounds, as many rounds a pretty, in 15 minutes.

Nothing complicated, basic movements done with good form for a short but effective total body workout that will leave you feeling strong and energized ready to take on the rest of your day 💪🏻😅❤️
