I am sharing this picture of my blood glucose meter because I have been working so hard this year to get my sugar levels within range so I won't have to be on insulin and this is my #christmasmiracle #godisgood #eatinghealthyworks #MerryChristmas #livingwithdiabeties...This is actually on the low side but it has been around 11 and my last sugar test averaged over 3 months was just over 7 so this huge for me... next step is no medication which isn't impossible now... right now I'm taking three different types so even if I can get down to just 1 is a huge WOOT WOOT!!!! 🎄🎄🎄🎉🎉🎉😀😀😀 Thank you to my amazing children for harassing me to always eat healthy!!! I love you Jonathan and Katarina... you are my blessings and gifts!!!!

I'll be honest. Getting back on track after vacation is always a struggle for me. However, I keep reminding myself that I love to workout and I love the way I feel when I'm eating healthy! Transformation Tuesday. Never have done one of these before but when my sister sent me the photo on the left I was in shock. I forget how far I have come and the gains I have made on the outside as well as the inside. On the left was pre-CrossFit, pre-healthy eating and pre-loving myself. I am so grateful for the healthy tools presented to me by others and for the willingness to pick up those tools and use them. 1. Get at least a 30 minute workout in first thing Sat and Sun!
2. Drink more water than you usually do so you stay hydrated.
3. Sleep IN If possible!
4. Take a healthy dish to your Super Bowl party!
5. Treat yourself to very small portions of the dips and unhealthy food at the parties. They add up fast and you don't want to eliminate all the hard work you put in this week. Willpower!!!!👊🏼
