💥The reality of life for my online clients is that not all of them want to count calories & I have some who eat out at least once maybe twice over a week albeit for a work schoomzing event or just a social event. Or sometimes their sat nav breaks so they dont find their way to the supermarket or the kitchen.

😍Im guessing some you are perhaps in one of those situations so here are some super simple things you can use to help keep calories under control.

⭐️On a slight side note, if you regularly dine out then I would encourage you ,as I do my online clients to take the view that this isn't an occasion it's just tea time. 👍🏻viewing something as an occasion for many immediately means I must eat indulgently, so keeping that mindset at bay will help to make some more optimal eating.👱🏻‍♀️

1️⃣Get into the habit of using a small plate to eat from, if you’re out ask for a side plate then serve yourself a smaller portion.

2️⃣Just leave some, leaving something rather than nothing will save you calories

3️⃣Use the good old hand guide to assess how your serving size is looking

4️⃣ Have extra veg & salad & cut your starches in half.

5️⃣Sauces can be a lethal & unexpected calorie load so always ask for dressing or sauce on the side you can pretty much fill your boots without having to worry about the calorie content )

6️⃣Be smart with your liquid intake keep it mostly to water & keep anything else 0 cal, nothing more annoying that unwittingly consuming 400 kcals from you morning coffee.

😀💥In conclusion if you are dine out every once in a while 💯 live your life enjoy it but if you're more the type that has a loyalty card for most of the eatery places in your area you need to implement some plans to keep you on track & if you just don’t want to count calories then these are things that should become a daily occurrence for you.

Bet you're sick of the C word by now aren't you. (Sorry.) This is inspired by an amezin post @danprice_639pt did last week for someone who:
1. Is looking to get a little leaner. (Yes - it is okay to have a goal which involves aesthetics.)
2. Feels like they're eating all the 'good' food but still not getting results.⠀

As we know, calories are just one component of nutrition but they're something to be mindful of when it comes to weight management.⠀

Both diets here contain 'healthy' food.
Both diets contain zero 'junk' food.
However one is 850 calories more than the other.⠀

This post is not to say you need to be eating a punnet of fruit as a snack and cut out smoothies, humous, granola or flapjack lol.
This post is to challenge the way you see food and the categories you place upon them.⠀

Each and everyone one of these foods can be included in a 'healthy' diet which would help you reach your goal. And equally, in moderation, every other food NOT pictured can be included in a 'healthy' diet to help you reach your goal. Yes even chocolate. (And sugar omg.)⠀

Look beyond 'good' and 'bad'. Look beyond the labels. Your diet should include ALL the foods you love no matter your goal. I say this all the time - moderation isn't sexy but it's bloody great.⠀⠀

Left side:
- 50g oats, 1 banana
- 150g blueberries
- 200g Alpro soya yoghurt, 15g honey
- 1 avocado, 2 slices of bread
- 400g strawberries
- 50g mixed salad, 100g chicken, 1 sweet potato
- 250g Alpro yoghurt, 60g blueberries,10g goji berries ⠀


Right side:
- 50g granola
- 450ml Naked smoothie
- 100g humous
- 4 Nairns oat cracker thins
- 1 avocado, 2 slices bread
- Graze protein bite
- 50g mixed salad, 1 sweet potato, 100g salmon fillet
- 250g Alpro soya yoghurt, 4 dates, 35g dried mango and coconut, 20g peanut butter ⠀

Hoje foi dia de salada pra compensar o fim de semana! Uma salada simples, mas bem gostosa acompanhada de carne acebolada e cogumelos.

Pra salada:
3 folhas de alface cortadas em tiras
1/2 tomate picado
1/2 xícara de feijão cozido escorrido
1/2 abacate picado
Vinagre e azeite de oliva a gosto
Pra carne:
200g de alcatra cortada em tiras
3 cogumelos
1/2 cebola
1 colher de chá de azeite de oliva
Sal e pimenta preta a gosto

Pre aqueça o azeite e quando estiver bem que te coloque a carne. Tempere com sal e pimenta. Quando ela estiver assada, remova da panela e reserve.
Na mesma panela, com o óleo da carne, frite a cebola e os cogumelos até ficarem macios. Volte a carne e dê mais uma fritadinha.
Monte a salada colocando todos os ingredientes juntos e tempere com azeite e vinagre.
Sirva com a carne e pronto!!!

I don't think I've continued to cook (healthily) for myself for this long in all my life.

I always used to think I could eat like crap/barely eat and just workout and I'd still lose weight.
But I've learned how incorrect that is and also unhealthy. I'm learning to enjoy cooking, and being proud of the things I put in my body.
I sure hope I can continue it because it makes me feel good.. expect for when I cut my finger open slicing lemons 🤦

So, after starting (and stopping!) my #30dayfitnesschallangeapp for my #30dayabchallenge repeatedly due to my #lowerback issues, I've decided to stick to a few #basicabexercises using my pad/wedgie as well my #modifiedarmexercises with my 5lb dumbbell. I'm going to do this #MYWAY. It definitely won't be pretty, and will probably take longer to see results, but I should be able to stay consistent with how often in doing my exercises.

Long post!! So a couple of weeks ago I stopped stepping on these and weighing out all my syns, extras etc etc etc. So I stepped on the scales today post a naughty sausage sarnie . I have stepped on a couple of times but not twice daily like I used to and was chuffed with 5lb off!! Not obsessing about food and slimming clubs has made me sooo much happier! Little bit nervous posting this, but I'm seeing some small differences. Oct. 19th 2017 began the day that I started eating better. I hadn't done much exercising but I'm now starting to aim at walking a few times a week at the park. Nov. 29th is the most recent pic I've taken. I can tell I don't look as bloated. I've cut out sodas (which I love soo much) and I've cut out fast food as well. I still have a few cheat meals typically with water to drink however, but I'm doing fairly well. I mostly have been eating chicken and all kinds of vegetables. It's been trying some days. Açaí na tigela com banana, frutas vermelhas e granola:

1 banana
1 polpa de açaí
1/4 de xícara de framboesa congelada
1/4 de xícara de água
2 morangos em fatias
1/4 de xícara de mirtilo
1/4 de xícara de granola

Num liquidificador de alta potência bata a polpa com meia banana, a framboesa e a água.
Coloque na tigela e termine colocando a outra metade da banana, os morangos, os mirtilos e a granola.

My husband has weird taste (that's why he married me 😂) - he loves crispy rice. Not the popped rice in rice krispies, normal rice that forms a crust at the bottom of the pan. Today he asked me to 'crisp some rice', as you do haha. I like a good challenge and I came up with this. I cooked some rice, pressed a thin layer in a cast iron dish, filled it up with steamed cabbage and spiced berlotti beans in tomato sauce and sprinkled grated vegan cheese on top. In the oven for 25 minutes, it fails the crispness test 🙈 so I finished it on the hob on high heat for 5 minutes and crispness achieved. Served up with more cabbage, houmous and beetroot on the side and Andy loved it. Try it if you're up some weird food like we are haha 🍃😂

My #sidebysideSaturday, from May until today, a little over 6 months of living a #modifiedketogeniclifestyle. Down 35lbs and 20 inches so far. This has been the easiest AND the HARDEST damn thing I have done for my health! I'm 15lbs away from my second goal, and halfway to my final goal.

Peaches 🍑 succulent and tasty 😋. Fruit so divine.

I had a craving for something sweet and doughy this morning so we settled for my good old vegan #blueberryPancakes 💙 I make the batter with: ✳ 1 standard coffee mug of flour (I used a mix of oat and buckwheat) ✳ 1 mug of nut milk turned into 'buttermilk' by stirring in 1 tbsp aple cider vinegar, ready in 5 minutes ✳ 1 tbsp melted coconut oil ✳ 1 tbsp lucuma powder as sweetener but you can use maple syrup or coconut nectar instead ✳ and 1/2 tsp bicarb of soda. Once mixed, spoon on a pan with 1/2 tsp coconut oil each time, add blueberries on the batter, flip, fry and stack up! Top with more blueberries and a splash of pure maple syrup - yum! 😍🍃

Dia de assistir filme é dia de pipoca. E quem é que é que não gosta de pipoca doce? Eu simplesmente amo!!! Essa receita é uma delicia e uma ótima opção pra que está evitando açúcar branco ou refinado.

Pipoca de “caramelo” ••
Para a pipoca:
1/3 xícara de milho de pipoca
1 colher de sobremesa de óleo de côco
Para o caramelo:
3/4 xícara de amêndoas picadas (opcional)
1/2 xícara de puro maple
3 colheres de manteiga/pasta de amêndoa
1 1/2 xícara de extrato de baunilha
1/4 colher de chá de sal
1/4 colher de chá de canela em pó ••
Pre-aqueça o forno a 180•c e forre uma assadeira com papel manteiga.
Faça a pipoca primeiro. Coloque o óleo numa panela, em fogo médio, acrescente o milho e tampe. Quando o milho começar a estourar, sacuda a panela de vez em quando para que não queime. Quando a pipoca estiver pronta, destampe a panela e reserve.
Para fazer o caramelo, leve o maple ao fogo médio e quando levantar fervura, marque 2 minutos e meio. Fique de olho para que não transborde. Retire só fogo e acrescente a pasta de amêndoa, o extrato de baunilha, o sal e a canela. Mexa até ficar homogêneo,
Jogue sobre a pipoca e com a ajuda de uma espátula misture até ficar bem distribuído. Acrescente aqui a amêndoa picada se decidir usar.
Coloque na assadeira e leve ao forno por 6 minutos. Na metade do tempo abra o forno e misture a pipoca um pouco.
Espere esfriar e sirva. Ela vai ficar bem crocante!!!

One of you had sent me a question about cheat meals and weekend meals. I know that people like to let loose on weekends but ladies please REMEMBER to train and eat healthy as a LIFESTYLE. Ditch all the diets and detox programs. Figure out a healthy balance that works for you and your body and practice that every damn day. The weekend is NOT a time to throw away everything you worked for so hard all week. Personally I don’t do the whole cheat meal thing if I want a treat I’ll have it regardless of the date and time 😝I really believe that if you find a healthy balance and don’t deprive yourself during the week you won’t have the need to plan a time where you can eat ‘unlimited’ or whatever.

I figure that if I’m going to be diligent about what I put in and on my body when it comes to wellness and “medicine” and beauty/health products, I can’t leave my food intake where it is without being somewhat of a hypocrite. • • • So, we’ll be starting this (or something very close to it) after the holidays.
