#facetofacefriday June ➡️ September. Today is my 11 week ketoversary! #keto has changed my life, for reals, and it's been awesome figuring out how it works best for me. Everyone is different and our bodies need different things! I still try to stick to around 20-30g of carbs a day but I'm adding carb ups to my life and experimenting weekly with how much protein and fat work for me. I don't track as often and I eat intuitively now. I still have another 15 pounds I'd love to lose BUT I'm no longer hyper-focused on that and instead I'm enjoying the journey. Woke up in the mood for breakfast so I stopped in McDonald's on my way to work. This is how I do a breakfast sandwich! I just order two sausage patties and an egg round with cheese, said exactly like that, then combine them into this nice handheld package.
Yes those are sweet potatoes fries. Yes they have carbs. However, they have far fewer carbs than their white starchy counterpart - the regular fry. And since I’m basically in maintenance, I’ve been eating more carbs (probably 30-50g per day) and they have not affected the scale at all. ALSO. 📌Pro-tip📌for burgers....smear some mayo on your plate, crack some black pepper on it the nestle your hot juicy patty right on top. The heat from the burger makes the mayo so gooey and delicious 👌🏼
Discovered this little gem today! Purple boost from Freshly Squeezed. Typically I stay away from fruit juices, but their veggie juices intrigued me. It does have raspberry juice, but no sugar added and with the kale, ginger, and cucumber, I was pretty set for fibre! Definitely adding protein next time🥒🥒
