I'm sure I'm not alone when in saying I have fond memories of prune juice from my childhood. Anyone else? When most people think of prune juice, they might think back to that moment in time where they had to throw back a glass of prune juice to provide relief for constipation - but that's not all prunes are good for! Try my fall recipe for breakfast or an afternoon snack. To make one serving in a mason jar add 1/2 cup rolled oats, 3/4 cup almond milk, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp maple syrup, a pinch of cinnamon, 1 tbsp hemp hearts, 4 sliced prunes and 1/4 cup crushed almonds and leave overnight.
