That's the number of first cousins I have. Let's not even get into second cousins, and all those other people I call cousin because they've always been around.
People often call me brave for the things I say and do, but I have something not everyone has. I have an army.
My Mom is the oldest of six children and my Dad is the oldest of seven. When I graduated college, 30 of my family members attended!
I share all this to say, that I do not operate alone. If I fall, there are many arms to catch me.
We humans are not meant to operate alone. Our strength comes from and is shared with those around us. Not everyone is lucky enough to be born into a support system like mine, but I do believe it is available to everyone who goes looking.
Do you come from a big family? Do you get along? Have you created a family outside the biological? Who is your biggest support?
