My good hearted, genuine change agent friends. This is a vital reminder. Too many of us think we must save the World. We carry this incredibly heavy load ----which overwhelms us and drains our precious energy. Then, we work ourselves to the point of physical exhaustion and mental depression. Then we do nobody any good because we are so depleted.
I have good news for you. READ CLOSELY:
The only job you truly have is to heal yourself and be the best version of you possible. You are a vessel of God's love. Yes, share the love and allow the love to flow through you as purely and fully as possible. This means taking time to attend to your own well being spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. As you do this inner work, you create more space for God to move in and through you. A natural byproduct of you taking care of you is you being a more effective agent of love.
Byron Katie has said, there are three types of business. Your business, other people's business, and God's business.
We tend to think that we must save other people. We can't. That is their job. We can plant seeds of love and show our concern and care and help in the small ways we can. But ultimately, they must wake up and do their own inner work and Empower themselves to move forward.
We also can't do God's work. God is the god of Miracles. He is quite capable of handling the 6.999 billion other people on the planet. As we release others to the hands of God we open the space to do what is in our control--to help ourselves and grow to our own personal potential.
By saving yourself, deepening your healing and becoming better, you ARE healing the world. Your life is a microcosm of the whole. By BEING the change more and more fully, others will naturally be touched by your peace, your power, your passion and your purpose.
Conclusion: feel relief today. Retrain your mind: I am responsible for myself and my growth. As I take care of my own business and do so well, God will flow through me and lives will be touched by my presence and by my actions. I trust the process. I choose to BE Well as I Do Good.
