One year ago I was set to attempt a week-long mountaineering traverse along the crest of the Cascade Range with several friends. But just as the trip started, a huge storm slammed into the range and left us with no choice but to go elsewhere. In a last-minute decision, we instead drove nearly 15 hours to this remote range in Wyoming to escape the massive weather system. Although it was our 'Plan B', it turned out rather spectacular, as you can see.
Fast forward to today, we're again prepping for a redo of the Cascade trip. Even though Plan B's work out from time to time, we're hoping for the right weather window this time around!
