Keys to an Eagles victory on Sunday:
-Get ahead early. Make some big plays both offensively and defensively. Eagles won a lot of games last year like that and won last week's game because of it. Momentum is a big part of the Eagles' success. It'll also get the crowd loud.
-No penalties. I've said this every week. I know it gets repetitive. But you can't give free yards to your opponent. They did a great job last week staying disciplined, which doesn't matter what opponent they play. That's on the team to stay disciplined.
-Contain Cam Newton. Frustrate him. Lots of the success the Panthers have had is because of Cam's legs.
-Balance the pass and run. Although the run game wasn't super effective last week it balanced with the pass much better than previous games. Running the ball wears down the defense while simultaneously keeping our team's defense fresh and their offense off the field. Obviously if one isn't working at all try to use the other, but I think you get the point.
-Tackling. I'm pretty sure Christian McCaffrey will have a big game. He's ridiculously elusive. Unless the Eagles do a better job of tackling. Should be a thing to keep an eye on.
-Another big game by the franchise QB. This is another important win. We need Carson Wentz to lead the team to victory.
