Throwback to when we entertained my dad on an impromptu Sunday afternoon quest to look for durians. Also, this girl loves durian! .
Kind of a stranger thing being the one who's not very adventurous with food yet falling in love with the king of fruits, also known as the smelliest fruit in the world. Amusingly, when we parked and the car door opened, this one proclaimed that it smelt SOOO nice! 😂
So it seems that the eating durian experience have gone through a few upgrades. This "roadside stall" was large with its own drive in carpark, shaded tables and chairs and a smorgasbord of durian species to choose from! They also provided you plastic gloves to eat durians with.
Do I eat durian? I remember going nuts over it from one of the trips up to Cameron Highlands when I was growing up. Then later I stopped because I didn't fancy the smell that came with the after burps, y'know what I mean? 😂 That Sunday, I ate 2 seeds of musang king because she was so enthusiastic about it! It was good!
