First time back to squats after some time. Feels like 💩 but that’s normal for me after deload. Top set at 580 then too many triples to count on the way back down. Snatch grip block pulls with 335
Front rack squats with 140 total with the hip circle.
And "spanish squats" I actually enjoyed those a lot! They created a serious burn in the quad right around the knee. And I would love for my quads to start growing again!

I’M BAAAACK!! Finally able to get back on a normal training schedule after deload for comp and deload after comp. Switching to a suicide grip on bench to try and ease pressure off elbows, felt weird but deff less pain in he elbow noticed immediately. It's great to send motivational messages and celebrate victories, but often times its's easy to default to the "ok I've achieved that so I'm done now" mentality. That's a totally fine way to approach things, if you are content with not continuing to learn and grow.

Those that desire more know that the journey is never over. There will always be someone fitter, stronger, faster, more knowledgeable...there will always be more to learn and more room for growth. .

This "bodybuilding style" girl is about to make a big programming change! As a CPT, I place huge importance on soaking up as much knowledge as possible. I believe that pushing your limits and setting out to do things that scare you is important. The fear of failure is very real when you step outside of a comfort zone. It's a big reason why people don't want to do it. Sometimes you just gotta say, "f*ck it, I'm gonna go for it anyway."

Having that said, I've decided to train for a powerlifting competition in December with some guidance from @turganomon & @darli__t at @dungeonfitness .
My deadlift needs work, I just started squatting, and my bench is non-existent. I might stink it up real bad, but hey, I might make some gains! I'll definitely learn a lot about the sport, myself, and how to be a better trainer. I'm gonna give it my best shot, I know that much. If you're interested, follow along with me. The next 3 months are going to be fun!!! .
