Unilateral work - using one limb at a time- is important to help identify and correct muscular imbalances which can hinder performance and increase injury risk. WATCH BOTH CLIPS TO THE END FOR A GOOD LAUGH 😂!

I feel like bodyweight exercises get pigeonholed as something that’s only for beginners, or as a warmup tool. I like use them often times as a finisher, but mostly I love to use them in a super set scenario.

This clip is from @gabriellasuglia shoulder training the other day. It is a tri-set starting with DB Front raises, next up DB lateral raises, and finished off with dive bomber push-ups this was a 4X10.

I think they are a great well rounded upper body movement, especially when paired with shoulder dominated work. PLUS you look bad to the bone doing them! 💀

Coordination, 🕺 & Single Dumbbell Pull Complex 🔥

One of my favorite ways to train is picking up a weight and just going somewhere outside n melting my face off. Weapon of choice is usually a kettlebell but went with a single Dumbbell today. .
By the way, I felt super uncoordinated with single arm skier swings. It’s good. I haven’t done much hinging since I hurt my back and never attempted single arm swings before. .
Don’t shy away from movements you feel uncoordinated - RUN TOWARDS THEM. Just means there’s more to #gainz. .
Single Dumbbell Complex .
(More emphasis on hinging ) .
✅ Warmed up with some mobility followed by one song of esctatic dance. .
✅ Descending ladder: 10 consecutive reps of each movement in sequence, switch other side and rest 30 seconds. Followed by sets of another 10,8,6,4 and 2. .
1. DB Clean from floor —> 2. DB Hammer Curl —> 3. DB Skier Swing —> 4. DB Staggered Stance Dl —-> 5. DB Single Leg deadlift —> 6. DB ISo SLDL Row —> switch sides!!! .

Did this DB complex twice this week and felt like getting some footage. These 25lb Dumbbells got me working. Try it out! 4 Rounds 1min rest between rounds or if you’re a savage, non stop. 10-squat press, 10-walking push ups, 10-renegade rows each side, 10-forward 10-reverse lunges, 10-burpee, 10- Lat. hops, 20-running man curl, 10-dips followed by 5min non stop core 10 reps each exercise. Lying down hip thrust, frog crunches, left elbow to right knee both sides and bicycles. #getgrinding

3-5 rounds 1 min Rest between rounds.
Dumbbell reverse lunge 5 -10 reps
Dumbbell RDL 5- 10 reps
Dumbbell Deadlift 5 -10 reps
Dumbbell power clean 5-10 reps
Dumbbell push press 5-10 reps
Dumbbell thruster 5-10 reps
Try to increase the weight each round whilst still keeping good form.
Keep your chosen rep range the same all the way through the complex.
Aim is to complete each exercise within the complex each side without putting the Dumbbell down.
