When you're climbing, do you tend to focus on your route? Being extremely mindful? Being present and aware only on what you're doing? Does your performance start to drop as soon as you think, "I'm gonna fall, I'm gonna fall, I'm gonna fall".. Or "Did I send that email before leaving?" 🤔
Ways I've learnt to tackle this is to really put in some time to warm up, relax, breathe, spend 10 minutes if you have to looking at the wall and the route you want to head up, visualising your self going up, looking at every step and every hold.. And forget about everyone else in the gym.. It is your route and your journey..
