I love actives, probably too much. An "active" commonly refers to a skincare product that contains acids, retinols, and variants of vitamin C.
I use differin for one week a month, and every other day during that week. It helps prevent closed comedones and clears congestion from my skin. I use it more frequently in the Winter.
@stratiaskin Soft Touch AHA - I love mandelic acid and this is a leave-on 10% gel that doesn't irritate my skin and helps clear up breakouts.
@nipandfab Glycolic Fix Overnight Purifying Gel - Nice glycolic acid gel. Also contains salicylic acid and niacinamide.
@deciem The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension & Lactic Acid 10% - I like the Azelaic Acid, minus the plastic smell from the packaging. Hate the Lactic Acid; it burned my skin.
Clinical Care Skin Solutions 20% Glycolic Acid Peel - lovely. I alternate this with the @makeup_artists_choice Mandelic Acid 25% Peel. Both are great. The glycolic is brightening while the mandelic clears up breakouts overnight.
@drdennisgross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Peel & Ferulic Acid and Retinol Brightening Solution - I love the daily peel. It is just so good that I reach for these over the other exfoliants I own quite frequently. I only have two left and I am sad. The brightening solution is nice. I use it on my neck.
@peterthomasrothofficial 40% Triple Acid Peel - also love this. I only have one vial left and I don't want to use it because that means dropping 88$ to get another box.
@skinceuticals CE Ferulic - Best vitamin C serum. Ever. I buy the sample packs on ebay and keep them in the fridge. Less chance of oxidation.
Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel - I really like this too. Gentle and very brightening. Helps fade PIE.
@dermalogica MAP-15 Regenerator - MAP based vitamin C powder. I mix this in my body lotion once a week.
