“I had this unreasonable list of things I wanted in someone, that I thought a person could never possibly live up to. You had all those things - and then so much more”. We both said this about the other when we started dating [without knowing 😭] -
If you’re anything like me you’re a tad of a control freak- I thought I knew exactly how life was supposed to pan out! But Patrick was better than the best plan I could have possibly dreamt up. Every night shift, every missed holiday, every dinner without him, every 30hr shift, every night he passes out because he’s about a week behind on sleep while I’m bright eyed + bushy tailed [is worth it]. -
As I get older, I realize, life is pretty stinkin crazy! Like....real crazy bahahah! Thankful to have this guy in my corner, keepin me grounded, and keeping us true to ourselves. He never loses sight of what’s important, he never stops challenging us to be better than we are [in the best way], he never stops working hard + he always gives his patients every ounce of his energy...I could go on forever ❤️❤️ Thanks for being without a doubt THE easiest decision I’ve ever made [coming from the queen of indecisiveness]. Happy ONE YEAR! I’m so thankful for everything in life that did [and also didn’t 🤣] go my way + led me to you!

#whatsonmyplate : salad leaves ( really well hidden ), sweet potatoes, romanesco, mangetout, peas, green beans, tomatoes, red cabbage, half an avocado, one boiled egg :)
Olive oil, pepper, pink himalayan salt, lemon juice, chia and sunflower seeds :)

Dans mon assiette : de la mâche ( bien cachée), des cubes de patates douces, choux romanesco, des pois mangetout, choux rouge, petits pois, haricots verts, tomates, avocat, un oeuf mollet :)
Huile d'olive, poivre, sel rose d'himalaya, jus de citron, des graines de chia et de tournesol :)

Banana, raw cacao, almond milk, peanut butter smoothie, with tiny bit of agave syrup to taste. I also added spirulina on a whim (hence the pondweed colour - doesn't affect the taste though) and topped it with some 90% dark chocolate, chopped up almond brittle & a sprinkle of sea salt.

So the best #gelato in the world apparently resides at #sangimignano
