An early Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We’ve decided to drink our calories this year 😜 in our tiny NY apartment.
Celebrating one of the more gluttonous, “more is more” Thanksgiving traditions: The Turducken
Admittedly, this is one of our more “out there” concepts but we had a ball creating it! It’s a savory, complex one, but with just enough fruit and acid for balance it becomes an incredibly light and easy drinking sour.
Here’s another of our TwoCoupes original creations:
TURDUCKEN: (or Turdrunken or Turdrinken 🤪)
1 1/2 oz Duck Fat Washed Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon
3/4 oz Thyme & Sage Ommegang Wheat Ale Syrup
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
1/4 oz Clarified Brown Butter Chicken Stock
1 Tbsp Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry Sauce
1 Egg White
1 Dash Angostura Bitters
Garnish: Shaved Turkey Cracklings, Fee Bros. Cranberry bitters, Piece of Turkey Crackling
Dry Shake, Shake, Double Strain, Up, Enjoy!
Please DM us if you have any questions on how we prepared the ingredients! 😊
