#tb. Few of you guys asked me if I’m competing this year and what happened to Teen Nationals. Well I don’t know where to start with this. I was planning on doing teen Nationals this year with the help and guidance from @fakhrimubarak_ceo_ifbbpro. Before I was going to start prep both my family and I were away for couple weeks. A week into our vacation i had found out my dad was doing all these tests, including a biopsy. I happened to find out from my mom that my dad had cancer. From that point on I didn’t know if this is the life I’m living or just a dream. So we quickly came back here and he went through a 4hr surgery. With everything going on, my mind didnt feel like it was in the right place. I had dropped my semester and gave up bodybuilding for the time being so I can just work and support my family. I became the “big man” of the family since my dad couldn’t work and my mom looked after him.
Alhamdulillah my dad’s surgery went well and he’s in the state of recovering. Also thank you to those who kept him in their prayers, I truly appreciate it. So after all this I’m still fighting day by day to help my family and go after my goals as a bodybuilder. It’s not easy but I’m happy to say I’m a man of pain and struggle. It shaped me to be the person I am today and I’ll always be grateful for that.
So now I’m slowly getting back into the flow of things and hopefully I can compete in next year’s Teen Nationals, Inshallah.
Anyways, I know I might’ve gotten way too personal here but I just want you guys to realize that it’s okay to take a step back from your goals and be there for your family and loved ones. Because this life is too short to just focus on your own path, help others around you and support them.
Have a blessed week and keep working towards your goals! ❤️
